The Agroforestry Resource Center supports education, research and community based planning efforts that sustain our forest resources by promoting their enduring ecological, economic and aesthetic value. We seek this goal through educational efforts that lead to prosperous small farms, economically and environmentally sound woodlot management, introduction and market development for forest farming products, and the development of a widespread land use ethic among the citizens of the region that recognizes the economic, ecological and inherent values of our forest dominated rural landscape.
